Following the Yellowhead Highway (HWY. 16), traveling west, brings you to a point with
stabilized sand dunes
on the right and Talbot Lake to the left.
There are several slower speed zones, 30 kph, along this stretch of highway because of the frequency of sheep,
goats and elk and the vehicles that stop to see them. Be a cautious driver.
