Wilcox Pass

Taking a rest, about half way through the alpine meadow of Wilcox Pass. The long northern ridge of Mount Wilcox is high, on the left. A day hike, starting at the Columbia Icefield Campground, through Wilcox Pass to Tangle Creek Falls, and return along the Icefield Parkway could take about 8 hours. Don't be surprised if you see more wildlife on the return, along the highway, than you see in the pass.
